December 2014, “Dneprospetsstal” successfully certified manufacturing of hot-rolled and forged bars of duplex UNS S31803 (03Õ22Í5ÀÌ3) steel grade and of stainless 316, 316L steel grades against the requirements of NORSOK M-650 Standard.
NORSOK Standards – a series of Norwegian standards prepared by the leading representatives of Norwegian oil and gas industry (among which such companies as Statoil and Phillips) in order to increase the efficiency, financial and time costs reduction at offshore mining. NORSOK industrial standards’ aim is – to substitute oil companies’ individual specifications which are used at working and designing oil-producing facilities nowadays.
Obtaining of NORSOK M-650 Certificate of conformance by PJSC “Dneprospetsstal” confirms the fact that the Company is able to meet the special requirements to metal products quality, such as, resistance to aggressive environments and low temperatures, which provides our Company a means to increase opportunities in products delivery in furtherance of key-customers’ needs, as well as, in promotion of “Dneprospetsstal’s” products and trade name abroad. The Certification affords DSS a ground for taking part in oil and gas industry projects. Certificate validity interval conforms to the requirements of NORSOK M-650, from 01.01.2015 within 5 years
